Re: Pork stew

Super good stew, and I made but with dumplings. I still have to wait until I have the device and then I repeat the recipe.

Re: Pork stew

Ancuta, if you mean the dumpling machine, you can go to Selgos to buy it. I asked some friends in Italy to send me one and after it came into my possession, I was surprised to see the same device at Selgros and a little cheaper than the one in Italy.

Re: Pork stew

Oh, I forgot to write to you, the galuscute instrument can still be found at Selgros, yesterday I was and there were about 6 exposed. it costs 21 lei

Re: Pork stew

Thanks for the info. I hope it doesn't pass until next weekend. This weekend my sister comes home and can only go to Selgros next week. He sits near the train station, he is quite far away and in addition during the week he has a very busy schedule and he can't walk.

Re: Pork stew

Your stew is very enticing and, as usual, the idea is. "Ideal" for these cold days, especially since I haven't done that in a long time. My husband doesn't kill himself for polenta, but this, with meat stew, is the only way to put polenta on his neck. Thanks.

didi 10 years ago - 14 October 2009 13:27

Re: Pork stew

Or with that machine you can make some spinach dumplings. It is an Austro-Italian specialty. They're insane. If you want I can give you the recipe

Ioana 10 years ago - 14 October 2009 14:32

Re: Pork stew

simona, on the other hand we like polenta, but we rarely eat pork, not that we wouldn't like it but it's quite heavy, so we prefer even newer chicken (and this is just me) and beef. you can make a puree next to it

didi, write it, normal! I only have the recipe for simple dumplings, but the green ones look so good.

didi 10 years ago - 14 October 2009 14:42

Re: Pork stew

So!
At 200 gr of spinach, add 200 gr of flour, 1-2 eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and water so that a dough comes out, neither thick nor flowing.
Bring salt water to a boil and when it boils, place the appliance over the pot and form a razor (as we call them in Transylvania). Bring to the boil until it rises to the surface.
Separately, in a deep frying pan or pan, heat a little olive oil in which 1-2 cloves of garlic are cooked (remove and discard after they have hardened) to taste the oil, pepper hot dry, some smoked sausage (I put either diced fillet muscles, or even ham that I buy from Plus) and right at the end DORNA UHT sweet cream. Pour the dumplings over all this composition, you can grate Parmesan cheese, let it boil for 2-3 minutes and. GOOD APPETITE!
It seems a bit complicated recipe, but it is not.

ioana, I really like your stew, I cook it on the weekends because I have more time. if I don't have Hungarian pepper paste can I put red peppers and cook it with onions?

Ioana 10 years ago - 14 October 2009 14:53

Re: Pork stew

with us it's in the cora, in the jar, not in the tube as I bought it, but it's produced by the same company Univer. The pasta is called Piros Arany: [link] I buy the tube because I don't use it that much and if I open the jar I can't use it all until it breaks

I took my tube from an apron near me, so it's everywhere, but maybe because we're so close to Hungary.

Ioana 10 years ago - November 25, 2009 12:32 PM

Re: Pork stew

In a way, your mother is right, the lard gives a different taste to stews like this. but I think it would be too fat. In addition, I think that the pork neck is fat enough so that there is no need for lard.

Re: Pork stew

ah, and one last question .. I have 1 kg of meat, do I double the amount of water and the rest of the ingredients?

Ioana 3 years ago - April 20, 2016 09:31

Re: Pork stew

Yes Laura, you double everything. and water it if you use a pan, if you use a pot you can put a little less. anyway if you put more and after the meat is cooked it seems too liquid you can lift the lid to decrease until you like the consistency of the sauce

Re: Pork stew

you can find pepper paste at any supermarket: [link]

Re: Pork stew

The stew is excellent. Luckily I bought sweet pepper paste in Romania (exactly the same) and I kept looking for some recipes to use it all and the right time came for this stew. I served it with polenta and it was very much appreciated by my Norwegian friend who likes all our Romanian food.
Here, on the site, I really learned to cook and thank you for the delicious recipes, Ioana!

How many vegetables, meat and water can I use to prepare a 40-serving soup?

Beef schnitzel with onion

Beef schnitzel with onion & # 8211 slices of veal (or beef) with a creamy onion sauce. A kind of low beef steak or a veal stew. Although it doesn't look like baby food, this beef schnitzel with onions is part of the category of childhood memories related to grandma. At that time I wasn't very fond of sauces, but I liked this onion schnitzel so much that, if my grandmother managed to get veal or beef, she clearly had to.

Snitel comes from & # 8222Schnitzel & # 8221 (German lb.) and designates a thin slice of boneless meat. Viennese snail is the one made in flour, breadcrumbs. So not every schnitzel needs to be fried in a crispy crust. Here's how to make an authentic Viennese schnitzel recipe here.

The onion sauce is very well made, you can't feel the onion pieces, but it is creamy and aromatic. Basically, onion schnitzels can be made with pork, but I personally like veal or beef more.

From the quantities below results 4 servings of beef schnitzel with onion.

Preparation Veal stew with flour dumplings beef paprika recipe

I bought ready-cut veal. I prepared onion, garlic and capsicum with me.

I washed and chopped the onion and garlic. I cleaned the pepper and the seeds and cut it into strips and then into cubes.

In a deep, wide saucepan, heat the oil and shorten the onion and garlic (over low heat, with a pinch of salt). They must become glassy without browning!

I placed the meat cubes in the pot and raised the flame. I constantly mixed them with a spatula so that they get a little color on each face. I added the chopped peppers and mixed a little more.

I salted and peppered the food well and I turned everything off with approx. 700 ml of hot water. Only now I put paprika (paprika)! I never put paprika in hot oil because it becomes bitter and indigestible. The water must contain the meat well.

How much is veal stew boiled?

I reduced the heat to medium to low and partially covered the pan with a lid. From now on, it should boil for at least an hour. From time to time I checked to see if the liquid had dropped too much and I filled it with a cup of water (if necessary). I also stirred occasionally so that it wouldn't stick.

The ultimate test is to taste a piece of meat: if it is tender and soft, it means that the veal stew has boiled enough!

Flour dumplings for veal paprika

Until the stew boiled, I took care of the flour dumplings. I beat the eggs, added salt and flour and thinned everything with cold milk, gradually added. I mixed a tablespoon of oil in the composition and left the bowl with the dough to rest for 10 minutes. During this time, the flour swells.

Flour dumplings can also be boiled directly in the food sauce (as I did at chicken recipe with peas and dumplings) but also separately, in boiling salted water. This time I boiled about 3 L of water with 3 teaspoons of salt in a large pot and I portioned the dumplings with a special grater.

Weekend fain, dragilor!

Ingrediente pentru 3-4 portii:

● 700 g carne de vitel taiata in cubulete ( noi am ales sa o taiem in cubulete cat mai mici)

● 2 catei de usturoi taiati felii subtiri

● 1 conserva rosii intregi decojite

● 2 linguri ulei de masline

● 500 ml vin rosu + 250 ml apa fierbinte

Method of preparation:

  • 2 onions
  • 300ml rosii pasate
  • 2 frunze dafin
  • 1/2 lingurita maghiran
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 lingurita boia iute
  • salt
  • a little bit of oil

Adaugam rosiile pasate, maghiranul si ardeiul iute tocat ( optional ).
