Quesadilla

Quesadilla

Snails can be made by anyone and each housewife has her own recipe, so I will not insist on their preparation. The only thing I want to mention is that I made the snails narrow and long.

For the vegetable sauce I used 4 tablespoons oil, a finely chopped onion, 2 bell peppers, a tablespoon of tomato paste, ground pepper, salt and dried thyme. I hardened the onion in oil, along with salt, ground pepper and thyme. When it became glassy I added the finely chopped bell pepper. When the peppers have softened, I added tomato paste and half a glass of water. I left it on the fire for another 5 minutes and stopped the fire.

With all the ingredients for the filling ready, I started the quesadilla.

I heated a grill pan and put a Mexican stick on it. When I noticed that it caught a little color, I turned it on the other side. I quickly sprinkled cheese on its entire surface. On one half of the stick I put a spoonful of vegetable sauce and two slices. I bent the glue over the slices and pressed a little with a wooden spoon to make the melted cheese adhere to the slices.

You have to work fast and keep the fire small because the glues can burn quickly. Quesadilla thus formed I placed it on plates and cut it into four triangles.

Some, however, preferred not to cut the quesadilla and bit their appetite with it. It is not a fabulous recipe and not worthy of a pompous meal, but for a dinner with friends it is perfect! I also bring witnesses!

Preparation Quesadillas recipe for sticks stuffed with cheese

I grated the Cheddar cheese and finely chopped the onion (or green onion). The picture also shows a pile of chopped pastrami (Lomo embuchado) with which I sprinkled cream corn soup. If you want you can put in the quesadilla the pieces of ham, ham, spicy sausages or prosciutto.

I placed a stick (I even used the tortilla) in a suitable non-stick pan and sprinkled it with grated cheese (Cheddar) and a little chopped onion. I also threw a few chili flakes on top and covered it with another glue. I pressed lightly and put the pan on medium heat. Be careful not to burn it! Because it is a stuffed stick, covered with another stick, it will have to be heated over medium to low heat, so that it has time to melt the cheese.

I checked with a spatula the browning stage of the quesadilla and turned it over, like a pancake. It is done very quickly, in 2-3 minutes. Gata si quesadilla. I cut it into 6 sectors. How the hot cheese flows from it & # 8230hmmmm & # 8230crazy!

How easy it is to make if you have glue or tortillas bought at home. It is enough to sprinkle them with a little grated cheese, chives and chili flakes and make them sandwich, two by two and then heat them in a Teflon pan, turning them on both sides. They will be reddish, crunchy and with a warm and spicy melted cheese filling. Perfect!

In other words, quesadilla is a pancake prepared on the grill or in a pan, using tortillas. This dish is served at all Mexican restaurants in the world. The preparation depends on the ingredients used in the filling and over time they have changed.

To prepare a quesadilla you need, first of all, glues (tortillas). The filling differs from chef to cook, but it is advisable to use the ingredients you like. Lately, in Romania as well, the preparation has started to be more and more ordered. We present below how to make quesadilla at home.

A recipe very tasty is the chicken guesadilla, where the following ingredients are used for the filling: tomatoes (diced), red onion (finely chopped), chicken breast (diced), parmesan, mozzarella. The chicken is lightly fried. Place the pieces of tomato, onion, mozzarella, parmesan and chicken on each stick. Fold the glue and place in a hot pan. Once browned on one side, turn the glue and brown on the other side.

The nutritional value of a portion of quesadilla differs depending on the ingredients used for the filling. So, if vegetables and chicken or seafood are used, we can get a preparation rich in vitamins and minerals, balanced from a nutritional point of view. It is important to avoid the use of oil during thermal preparation, and to use good quality cheeses.

Quesadilla is native to South America
