"Fake Creams"

- Separate the pots, melt the butter, preheat the oven

- Rub the yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar, add the melted butter (not hot) and add the flour and milk so that they do not form lumps.

- Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt.

From this cake I learned the importance of the method of incorporating the egg white. So the composition is incorporated into the yolk composition with a wooden spoon from top to bottom (this was the secret) so the air bubbles formed by beating the egg white are kept, and the cake will be more "airy" / fluffy.

- after you have greased the tray with flour (25x35), the hardest stage follows: "throwing" the composition in the tray and putting the tray in the oven, the first 5-6 minutes on high heat, and then on low heat for an hour without opening the oven along the way. The cake is ready when a little foam cracks on the surface!

Prince Philip's latest crazy idea. It materialized at the funeral

Prince Philip paid a paparazzi for the funeral. Arthur Edwards, who has photographed the royal family for more than 40 years, recalled the stunning sight that left him to capture the "pain of the close family" at Saturday's funeral. The funerals started on Saturday at 16:00, Romanian time. During the funeral procession, but also during the service, Princes William and Harry did not sit side by side.

The royal family thus wanted to avoid any tension that overshadowed the ceremony. The children, as well as the grandchildren of the Duke of Edinburgh, walked behind the coffin to St. John's Chapel. George. At the end of the procession, the queen was in a Bentley, accompanied by one of her ladies. All these scenes, but also the moment of national silence, were captured by Arthur Edwards, aged 80.

Prince Philip paid his paparazzi at the funeral. It was hidden in a false pillar

In the red circle, you can see the false pillar in which the photographer was hidden. Edwards was clearly instructed to hide inside a false church pillar to get close-up photos of Prince Philip's funeral. "The duke, who planned every moment of his funeral, hired me as a photographer to hide inside a false pillar at the top of the stairs leading to St. Mary's Chapel. George ", wrote the photographer.

Old-fashioned cream

This cake has a lot of names, including: fake creams, ready-made cream cake, smart cake, abracadabra. Regardless of the name, it's an excellent cake, very easy to make, fast, but it looks like we've worked a lot on it.

For a 24x38 tray we need:

8 eggs
1 liter of milk
300 g sugar
1 packet margarine (250g)
300 g flour
5 sachets of vanilla sugar
1-2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Cut the margarine into cubes and put it in a saucepan, along with 3 tablespoons of milk and sugar. Put on low heat, stirring constantly, until the margarine melts and the sugar dissolves. Let it cool completely, so as not to cut the composition.
Meanwhile, separate the yolks from the whites, whipping the foam.
In the mixture of margarine and sugar, add the yolks one by one, stirring constantly. Then add flour and a little milk, and finally pour the rest of the milk, vanilla essence and vanilla sugar. The composition will be very liquid, but it's ok, it will harden in the oven.

We also add the beaten egg whites, stirring from top to bottom carefully, so that they remain fluffy. Pour the composition in a pan greased with oil and lined with flour and put it in the oven at 180 degrees for 45-55 minutes, until it gets a nice color.

Let the cake cool completely and eventually keep it in the fridge for a few hours before serving.

Half my Age Plus Seven

Is it the age or the human nature? Is Half my Age Plus Seven a dating rule that applies only to men? What happens if a woman over thirty-five falls in love with a boy twelve years younger than her? Does she need to be a celebrity in order for this relationship to become official? What would the world say? Would the relationship last?

Half my Age Plus Seven - Book 2 - Too Good to be True?

Not many people know that A Sinful Confession has a sequel.

As I wrote here, my publishing journey with this book - my very first novel - didn’t go very well.
If something, it went horribly wrong.
Unexpectedly. Undeservedly.

I can’t blame anyone but myself.
However, one thing only worth mentioning: somewhere along the line, the dialogue between me and my publisher took a very bad turn. Although I highlighted from the very start that this novel is a trilogy, at no point did my publisher got that.
And I didn’t realize until the book was out.
It was too late.

Anyway, if you don't know, Half my Age Plus Seven is the book that made me a registered author.

If A Sinful Confession can be read on its own as it has a proper ending, Too Good to be True can only be read after the Book 1.
It would make no sense if you read it first or alone.
It wasn't conceived to stand alone.

Book 1 however, was intended to stand alone from the start.

Once you read A Sinful Confession and Too Good to be True, it's not necessary to read Book 3.
Again, Book 2 has an ending, just like Book 1.

Besides, Book 3 was never finished due to this challenging publishing experience.

I can't say much about the Plot if you didn't read Book 1.
But if you read Book 1, know that this is exactly the opposite experience that took place in Book 1.

There is a new protagonist in Book 2. An ideal man and lover.

It is a sweet and dreamy love story.

I really think you should give it a try.

It is not a cliche 'romance book. You don't know what happens next.

Genital warts: what treatment do I choose so that they do not reappear?

I.B., from Iaşi: & bdquoPlease help me with an answer from a specialist: are genital warts carcinogenic? I understand that there are several treatment options: creams, surgery. But it may reappear. What treatment options are there and what can I do to prevent them from recurring? Thank you. & Ldquo

Dr. Corneliu Dobre, Dermatology Clinic, Hospital & bdquoSf. Spiridon & ldquo Iaşi: & bdquoGenital warts (venereal vegetations) are lesions caused by viruses from the large family of human papilloma viruses (HPV). They are most often transmitted through sexual contact, the condom partially and incompletely protects.

Unprotected areas with micro-lesions (for example immediately after blade epilation or the use of depilatory creams) are the target of new HPV infections. Once the virus is acquired, the person is a lifelong carrier. Carriers of the virus can be "healthy" - with no apparent lesions, or sick - with HPV lesions.

The correct and complete treatment involves thermoexcision

The correct and complete treatment is only thermal excision (electro, radio, laser, etc.), only in this way can the control of the destruction of the base of the lesions be controlled. The treatment itself is painless.

This treatment can be preceded in the case of large lesions by surgical excision (cleaning). Particularly large vegetation will be surgically removed.

The lack of scars and recurrences depends on the doctor's experience. The result of a correct treatment is perfect and without scars.

Caution: In the first year after treatment, regular check-ups are required every 3 months.

Treatment should also be preceded and followed by stimulation of immunity.

In case of recurrence, consult a dermatologist at the first signs, the evolution being rapid, such cases denote a modest participation of personal immunity in antiviral defense.

Diseases caused by viruses and immunity: attention to products that guarantee & bdquovindeco magic & ldquo

The vast majority of dermatological diseases caused by viruses (warts, venereal vegetation, papillomas, etc.), but also other infectious viral diseases are more common in people with low immunity.

Correction of the individual immune response corresponds to a lower rate of relapses and rapid clinical healing.

Immune stimulation treatments are done only on the advice of a doctor, the resources of the immune response being limited. Some diseases caused by viruses can be cured spontaneously on the background of a competent immune response. These situations are rare, but not non-existent, they are exceptions, not the rule.

Hence the success of otherwise inefficient techniques, based on the positive suggestion of the patient. Don't be fooled by the ads that promise you & magic "magic healing" using a highly promoted product.

The treated and uninjured person remains a healthy carrier!

The treated and cured person remains a carrier of the virus for the rest of his life. The absence of apparent lesions reduces the risk of contagion, not eliminates it.

The partner of a person carrying venereal vegetation must always be examined and if he has injuries, early treatment is required. See your dermatologist for the first signs of illness

. People infected with HPV will also check for other sexually transmitted diseases: syphilis, hepatitis B and C, HIV, etc. & ldquo.

The greater the number of lesions, their size and age, the more difficult the treatment!

► Examine your partner for any irregularities on your external genitalia.
► Avoid having any projected or unprotected sex with people with such injuries.
► The greater the number of lesions, their size and age, the more difficult the treatment.
► Don't be fooled by the ads that promise you & magic "magic healing" using a highly promoted product.
► Venereal vegetation is extremely contagious. Do not trust your personal luck. The cured person remains a carrier of the virus for the rest of his life.
► Perianal vegetation must not be neglected, expanding and growing rapidly.
► The use of depilatory creams and the removal of hair by shaving with a blade favors their rapid extension.
► Treated correctly, healing is fast and without recurrences.
►Neglected, vegetative lesions can reach impressive dimensions.
► HIV-infected patients frequently have large anal or genital warts with a difficult response to treatment.

Some types of papilloma viruses (HPV) are associated with the risk of cancer

► There are several types of papilloma viruses (HPV). We can become infected with several types, the appearance of the lesions being different for each virus.
► Only 1-2% of men and women with HPV have visible exophytic lesions!
► The transmission of the virus from a healthy carrier to a non-carrier depends on many factors.
► The incubation period (from infection to the first manifestations of the disease) can vary from a few months to years.
► HPV genotypes 6 and 11, which are the most common cause of exophytic warts (highlighted, highly visible) are not associated with cancer risk.
► HPV at risk for cervical cancer are HPV subtypes 16, 18, 31, 33 or 35.
► The more visible and prominent the lesions, the lower the risk of cancer. The more discrete (flat) the viral lesions are, and the appearance seems negligible, the higher the risk of malignant transformation.
► The papillomavirus type 6, 11, 16 and 18 vaccine prevents precancerous lesions and non-invasive cervical cancers.

11 fascinating things about laughter

Teacher Sophie Scott, a neurology researcher and stand-up comedy actress, gathered these surprising things about laughter.

You tend to laugh more in the presence of others - and not because of jokes

If you laugh, you are more likely to be in the company of several people, according to laughing expert Dr. Robert Provine. The essential element for triggering laughter for most people is the presence of another person, not a joke or a funny movie.

After analyzing how 1,200 people laugh in their natural environment, Dr. Provine and his team concluded that laughter as a result of jokes occurs in only 10-20% of cases. Social laughter occurs 30% more often than solitary laughter.

In most cases, laughter follows a commonplace or slightly funny comment, which shows that the person is more important than the reason for the laughter.

The brain can detect false laughter

Prof. Scott's research shows that the mind can tell the difference between genuine laughter and false laughter. When you hear a stage laugh, or a forced one, a certain part of the brain in the anterior medial prefrontal cortex is activated, which helps you understand people's emotions. This suggests that the mind comes into action automatically trying to decipher why a person is laughing hard.

Laughter is contagious

The saying "laugh and the whole world will laugh with you" is more than an expression: laughter can be contagious. The sound of laughter triggers areas of the pre-motor cortical region of the brain, which is responsible for aligning the facial muscles to the sounds heard and preparing them for a reaction.

Jokes are more funny when you know the person telling them

Familiarity is an essential part of laughter and humor, and studies show that people find jokes told by famous comedians more funny than if they are told by people they don't know.

Laughter burns calories

Laughter increases energy consumption and heart rate by up to 10-20%. That is, you could burn 10-40 calories if you laugh for 10 to 15 minutes. Although it sounds good in theory, you should seriously laugh for an hour or more for these calories to have any visible effect.

Laughter is good for a relationship

Studies show that the couple's relationships in which laughter and smiles are used as communication tools when approaching a more delicate subject feel much better immediately after the discussion and feel more satisfaction in their couple. In addition, they have a longer life relationship.

Laughter needs coordination

Laughter has a distinct pattern. It rarely appears in the middle of a sentence. Laughter usually occurs at the end of a sentence or at the break of a speech, suggesting that language has priority.

"The appearance of laughter at the end of a sentence in a speech suggests the existence of a neurological process that leads to the placement of laughter in speech. Different areas of the brain are involved in expressing a speech of a cognitive nature and the vocalization of laughter, which is more emotionally charged. "

Comedians use the natural tendency of laughter to increase and decrease in intensity and pause at the end of sentences, so that the audience "fills" them with laughter.

Laughter is appealing

Studies by Dr. Provine have shown that women laugh at 126% compared to men in dialogues between the opposite sexes, men being the ones who prefer to trigger laughter.

In a review of more than 3,700 newspaper ads, Dr. Provine noted that 62% of them were women who mentioned laughter and specified that they were looking for a humorous partner, while men were more likely to use humor in ads.

Some things can make anyone laugh

Although there is no joke to laugh at all Prof. Scott has discovered that one of the best tools to make people laugh in his lab is a clip with people trying to not laugh in a situation where it would be very inappropriate to do so.

Laughter is also good for memory

Researchers at Loma Linda University of California they studied the role that humor can play in health. They divided 20 adults into two groups - one watched funny movies and the other waited in silence for 20 minutes. Before and after the test, both groups received a short-term memory test…

The group that had fun had much better test results, 43.6% compared to only 20% in the second group. Those in the group who had fun also had a much lower level of the stress hormone cortisol. According to researchers, laughter is a pleasant tool that helps counteract the decline in memory in older adults:

"The results of the study suggest that humor may have clinical benefits and may aid in the recovery process and may be used in programs that promote general well-being in older adults. Learning ability and memory are very important for a better quality of life for these people - both for mind, body, spirit, and for social and economic aspects. Older adults may experience age-related memory deficits. But now doctors can offer positive, pleasant and humorous therapies that reduce these deficiencies. "

Laughter improves immunity, improves sleep quality and much more

What good is laughter? Studies have shown that laughter can reduce stress hormones and boost immune function while inducing positive feelings. Laughter has proven physiological, psychological, social, spiritual and quality of life benefits, so that many health care centers adopt laughter therapy as a complementary form of care. Opportunities that provide a good environment for laughter, such as yoga with laughter or parties for laughter, are becoming increasingly popular around the world. Below is a short list of the benefits of laughter:

Children laugh easily and often, but adults may forget that they still have to laugh. Whenever you can, it's a good idea to take your daily portion of laughter. Remember that it is easier to laugh when you are in the company of others, so try to find reasons to laugh when you are with friends, family and colleagues.

Laugh every day!

Some experts recommend a daily dose of 15-20 minutes of laughter, as well as sports or eating vegetables. If you haven't got your share of laughs yet, watch this video:

It is living proof that laughter is contagious…

CLEAN CAKE (SMART CAKE, MAGIC CAKE)

Smart cake, smart or smart cake, magic cake, even fake creams, I saw that this cake is still called. Regardless of the name, it is an exceptional cake, incredibly easy to prepare and absolutely delicious. It is a smart cake because we prepare a single composition, we pour it in the tray, and the cake is arranged by itself in the oven :). During baking, 3 layers are formed: a top at the base, cream in the middle and a very fluffy and airy top on top.
The smart cake is prepared in a very short time, the ingredients are few and handy and the result is truly spectacular. It's a cake that it's a shame not to make :)
The smart cake is a cake with maximum chances of success. But the order of adding the ingredients must be respected, otherwise the magic will not happen :).

The smart cake is also a good-looking cake and is suitable for a festive meal.
I have to admit that I avoided making this cake for a long time because I didn't think that just by mixing everything in a bowl I could get such a cake. But it happened that I was very cold, I didn't have the energy to cook, but the craving for something sweet was in its place and I said it was time to try it. What can I say, it really is a magical cake and I'm really sorry that I avoided it so far.

I highly recommend this smart cake, it is really magical :)
