How to prepare berry jam?

I've already prepared raspberry jam and red currant jelly with raspberries. In addition, I bought blackberries and blueberries from the market. I made them separately blackberry jam, respectively of blueberries, but I kept 100 g of each for this berry jam. I'm sorry I didn't find strawberries.

The jam differs from the jam in that the berries remain somewhat whole and are boiled in a sugar syrup (do not cook with sugar from the beginning & # 8211 more you can read here, at the raspberry jam recipe).

I cleaned the fruits of the tails (especially the currants) and weighed them. I had 500 g of fruit. Since the blackberries and currants were a bit sour, I decided to add 500 g of sugar. Out of these quantities I got approx. 800 g of jam, ie 2 jars of 400 ml.

The recipe below is written for 1 kg of assorted berries to which is put 1 kg g caster sugar and from which will result a quantity of 1.6 kg jam & # 8211 ie 4 jars of 400 ml or 2 large jars of 800 ml.
