The TV personality is slated to host a brunch during the event
Paula Deen, who has been having a few of the most epically bad weeks in human history, has been seeing her endorsement deals dropping left and right. Smithfield, Home Depot, Novo Nordisk, Walmart, and Target have all cut ties with her, as well as Caesars Entertainment, which will be "rebranding" the Deen-branded restaurants they own, as well as Food Network, which canceled all her programs. All of this comes in the wake of the release of a deposition transcript in which she admitted using racist language.
During this fall from grace, our thoughts turned to the upcoming New York Wine & Food Festival, which will be taking over the city the weekend of Oct. 19. Deen is slated to host a "Classic Comfort Brunch" on that day, a buffet-style brunch at Pier 61. We reached out to representatives of the festival about the event’s, and Deen’s, status, and here’s what they had to say:
"Paula and her family are longtime supporters of our festivals, and this is an unfortunate situation. Our run of show has not changed since it was announced on May 15."
So it looks like Deen still has one thing to look forward to, for now at least.
What necessary words ... Great, an excellent idea
Many Russians start life every morning with a clean slate ... - A clean slate? - Yes, with a clean toilet sheet! And let them end their day on your blog)!
What word is mean?
Excuse, that I can not participate now in discussion - there is no free time. I will return - I will necessarily express the opinion on this question.
