Boil the potatoes in their skins with water and salt for 20-30 minutes.
Peel a squash, grate it and put a layer of potatoes in a heat-resistant pan, place salt, pepper and basil on top.
Cut the onion jullien, put it in olive oil until it softens a little, add the sliced kaizer, leave it for a few more minutes and add it over the potato layer.
Cover with another layer of potatoes, add the spices, cut the delaco cheese into cubes and break the cheese slices into pieces.
Bake for 40 minutes.
